African American, Black, Colored, etc

I heard people talking today about their ethniticity.  I am very dissapoionted because people still don't know what in the world they are!

 I had co-workers arguing over whether they were black, african american, colored or other.  What is really sad is that they are all caught up in the typical "black people stuff" that plagues us as a people.  Each of em drives a brand new car financed for 6 years and owes more on it than what the car is worth.  Each spends hundreds of dollars on hair, nails, clothes and stupid colored contacts.  Neither of them is less than 250 pounds and neither has a gym membership.  One of them lives on the lake but never takes a walk around the lake.  You can hear them breating 3 cubicles over and it is so nasty and sad.

 What is the deal ... how do we deal with this madness?
